Best advice I've ever received: "Never give up."

Last week: Tolman led the league-leading Bees to wins over Sky View and Mountain Crest with a total of 71 assists and 31 digs.

Tolman on her performance: "I think it's going really great. We're working really well together and we're good friends. There's a lot of responsiblity put on me (as a setter) because I have to run whatever everybody's hitting, be the main speaker and get people pumped up. We have high goals set."

Coach Robyn Mecham on Tolman: "She's a great athlete and a leader. She's a great defensive player and very quick to the ball. She loves to win and tries to figure out the best way to make our hitters successful. She's one of our team captains."

After high school: "I want to play either basketball or volleyball in college and have a family."
