Former Metro players make their d-1 debuts

Two former Salt Lake Metro players made their d-1 debuts on Friday.

Utah's Halie Sawyer came off the bench for the Utes and led the team in rebounding in her first collegiate game. Sawyer had a team high 8 rebounds in 25 minutes of play.

BYU's Haley Hall scored 8 points, went 2-3 from the 3 and had 3 assists in 18 minutes of play for the Cougars.

Excellent debuts for two former Metro greats.  We (and their coaches) expect big things from them in the next 4 years!  Both BYU and Utah were ranked in the top 25 in the country last season.  BYU is currently ranked 24th.
