OGDEN, Utah -- Weber State opened the 2006-07 regular season on Friday night with a 83-57 win over Colorado Christian at the Dee Events Center.

Juan Pablo Silveira got the 'Cats going early as he hit a barrage of treys. The red-shirt sophomore from Salto, Uruguay scored 15 of the team's first 17 points as WSU opened up an early six-point lead. His 15 points all came from behind the arc as he hit five of six three-point attempts in the game's first eight minutes.
