Karlee Weight signs with Weber State

Weber State women's basketball head coach Carla Taylor has announced the signing of four new players to compete with the Wildcats next season. The Wildcats have signed Kristin McComas, Karlee Weight, Caela Mohre, and Emily Thatcher to National Letters of Intent to join Weber State.
Karlee Weight is a 6-1 center and joins Weber State from Timpview High School in Springville, Utah. Weight is an McDonald's All-American Team nominee for 2007 for the state of Utah. She has averaged 10 points, five rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1 steal per game at Timpview. She earned Honorable Mention 2005-06 All-Valley Team honors and was named one of Utah Valley's Top Post Players in 2005-06 by the Deseret Morning News. Weight has a 3.96 GPA and is a Member of the National Honor Roll. She has been a member of the Salt Lake Metro Club Team since 2004.
