The latest Bruin bashing was given to the Phoenix College Bears courtesy of SLCC’s own Michelle Pace (freshman, Holladay, UT) and company. The Olympus High Schooll phenom recorded her first collegiate double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds while setting the pace for the 93-36 win over Phoenix. Keshia Catten (freshman, Murray, UT) shared the hot hand with Pace as she shot 50% from three point range and tallied 16 points on the night. SLCC was strong in the post with sophomores Atta Diabate (Mali, Africa) and Breanne Law (Boise, ID) contributing 13 and 11 points respectively. Diabate also pulled down 9 boards.
