Former Metro players lead the nation

Former Metro Players Geoff Payne (Alta/Snow JC) and Tom Whitehead (Dixie/Yavapi JC) are currently ranked among the leading scorers in NJCAA division one basketball.
Payne is third in the nation in scoring at 26.8 points per game. Whitehead, who is only a freshman, is twelveth in the nation averaging 22..4 points per game. Both players are having excellent years for their respective teams.
