Metro Boys Stat Leaders (thru January 23)

Two Metro Boys players are currently leading the state of Utah in scoring.    Three Metro Boys players are leading their respective divisions in scoring.

Preston Eaton
  Springville (2007) is currently leading the state and 4A in scoring averaging 24.4 ppg.  Preston is also third in 4A in three pointers with 2.31 per game.

Noel Hollingsworth  Judge Memorial  (2008) is second in the state and first in 3A in scoring averaging 21.4 ppg.

In 1A we have a duel statistical leader. 

B J Porter  Layton Christian  (2007) is currently tenth in the state and  fourth in 1A in scoring averaging 20.3 ppg.  B J is also tenth in 1A in three pointers with 1.67 per game

In 3A we have a duel statistical leader. 

Jaxon Myaer  Judge Memorial  (2007)  is third in 3A in scoring averaging 17.3 ppg.  Jaxon is also fifth in three pointers with 2.25 per game.

The top two players in the 2009 class in the state are among the top scorers in 5A.  Metro teammates Tyler Haws and C J Wilcox are playing extremely well in their sophomore seasons.

Tyler Haws  Lone Peak  is currently second in 5A scoring averaging 19.9 ppg.
C J Wilcox   Pleasant Grove  is fifth in 5A scoring averaging  17.0 ppg.

The top three point shooter in 5A is also a duel statistical leader. 

Ryan Brimley  Hillcrest (2007) is leading 5A  and is second in the state in three point shooting averaging 3.14 per game.  Ryan is also the ninth leading scorer in 5A averaging 15.8 ppg.
