Two Metro Boys players are currently leading the state of Utah in scoring.
B J Porter Layton Christian (2007) is currently leading the state and 1A in scoring averaging 23.0 ppg. Preston Eaton Springville (2007) is currently second in the state and leads 4A in scoring averaging 23.0 ppg. Preston is also seventh in 4A in three pointers with 1.85 per game.
Noel Hollingsworth Judge Memorial (2008) is second in the state and first in 3A in scoring averaging 21.4 ppg.
In 3A we have duel statistical leaders.
Jaxon Myaer Judge Memorial (2007) is third in 3A in scoring averaging 19.1 ppg. Jaxon is also tenth in the state and fourth in 3A in three pointers made with 2.32 per game.
Noel Hollingsworth Judge Memorial (2008) is sixth in the state and second in 3A in scoring averaging 20.9 ppg.
The top two players in the 2009 class in the state are among the top scorers in 5A. Metro teammates Tyler Haws and C J Wilcox are playing extremely well in their sophomore seasons.
Tyler Haws Lone Peak is currently ninth in the state and second in 5A scoring averaging 19.4 ppg. C J Wilcox Pleasant Grove is eleventh in 5A scoring averaging 14.4 ppg.
The top three point shooter in 5A is also a duel statistical leader.
Ryan Brimley Hillcrest (2007) is leading 5A and is second in the state in three point shooting averaging 3.25 per game. Ryan is also the fifth leading scorer in 5A averaging 16.3 ppg.
