Metro Players Allie Lunt and Nicole Brady sign with Salt Lake Community College

Salt Lake Metro's Allie Lunt and Nicole Brady have signed letters of intent to play basketball at Salt Lake Community College next year. They will join former Metro players Michelle Pace, McKenzie Jessop and Keisha Catten as Bruins.
Congratulations to both Allie and Nicole on your scholarships. They bring the total number of 2007 Girls Metro players that have received scholarships to 7.

Salt Lake Community College women's basketball head coach Betsy Specketer recently announced her incoming freshman class for the 2007-2008 basketball season. SLCC will graduate seven players from the 2006-2007 team.
The recruiting class includes four Utahns and one Illinois native. Joining the Bruins at the guard position is 5-7 Marquina Gilliam-Hicks out of Layton Christian High School. Also at guard is 5-5 Allie Lunt, graduate from Payson High School.
Specketer adds three freshmen to the forward position. Amanda Hansen is a 5-10 forward from RIverton High School and Nicole Brady is a 6-0 forward from Uintah High School. Rounding out the freshmen is Julie Douglas, a 5-10 forward from Nauvoo-Colusa High School in Nauvoo, Illinois.
The Bruins are coming off their second trip to the NJCAA national tournament where they finished as one of the top eight teams in the country.
