Cassie Platt first commitment for class of 2008

Cassie Platt verbally committed to sign a letter of intent with Southern Utah University during the summer after her sophomore year.
Among Cassie's basketball honors are the following:
2007 Salt Lake Tribune 3A First Team All State
2007 Deseret News 3A Second Team All State
2006 Salt Lake Tribune 3A MVP
2006 Deseret News 3A MVP
2005 Pacific Coast Shootout 15U All Tournament Team (Salt Lake Metro)
Cassie will join former Metro players Erin Haskins, Caitlyn Sears and Jamie Sagers as T-Birds at Southern Utah University.
Congratulations to Cassie on your scholarship. She is the first player in the class of 2008 to commit to a d-1 school. Her commitment brings the total number of 2008 Girls Metro players that have received scholarships to 1.
