Morgan Wood verbally committed to sign a letter of intent with Southern Utah University.
Morg averaged 17.2 pts, 10 rebs and 2.5 steals per game last season for Beaver High while leading them to a 17-7 record. Morg was a three year starter, a two time region MVP and has led Beaver to three straight region championships. Morg was the 2nd leading scorer in 2A in 2006-2007.

Morg and fellow 2008 Metro player Cassie Platt will join former Metro players Erin Haskins, Caitlyn Sears and Jamie Sagers as T-Birds at Southern Utah University
Congratulations to Morg on your scholarship. She is the fourth player in the class of 2008 to commit to a d-1 school. Her commitment brings the total number of 2008 Girls Metro players that have received scholarships to 4.
