Former Metro player Karlee Weight played well in her first college basketball game at Weber State. Karlee had 6 points and 5 rebounds in 21 minutes of play.
“This was a good test for our team to see where we stand,” said WSU coach Carla Taylor.
“It was good to see our defense as well and find out what we need to work on. Our two freshmen post players Karlee Weight and Emily Thatcher both played well and were a couple of our bright spots. We still have a lot of work to do but it is good to get a game under our belts.”
