STILLWATER, Okla. - The Air Force women's basketball team opened its 2007-08 season with an 89-49 loss at Oklahoma State Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Freshman point guard Raimee Beck led the way for the Falcons with 13 points.

Air Force came out strong early on leading by as many as five points midway through the first half. The Falcons kept the game within two points with four minutes left in the first, until the Cowgirls pulled ahead to a 38-29 lead at the break.

Several of Air Force's starters got into foul trouble in the second half and Oklahoma State caught-fire behind the three-point line to further extend its lead.

Beck had a solid debut for the Falcons, shooting 5-of-11 from the Field and hit 3-of-8 from three-point range. The freshman also had a team-leading four steals and had one assist.
