Music Group:  "Secondhand Serenade"

Book:  "Twilight"

Class/Subject:  Psychology

Favorite athlete:  Michael Jordan

Role model:  “My mom and dad, Steve and Denise”

What I’d like to win a lifetime supply of:  Shoes

Hobby: “Hanging out with friends and playing softball and tennis.”

Web site/video game: Guitar Hero
Biggest sports thrill:  “Last year beating Brighton (63-56) in the opening round of the playoffs.”
Best advice I’ve ever received:  “Play your own game.”

Last Week:  Adams upped her scoring average to a second-best in class 5A 19.2 points per game with 24- and 25- point efforts. She had six three-pointers in a 64-30 win over Syracuse on Tuesday and then led the Lancers 75-39 drubbing of Viewmont on Friday.

Adams on her performance:  “I feel like our team is coming together and starting to gel more. It now feels more like a team effort than individual efforts. I think last week (in losses to Davis and Fremont) we were still trying to get the hang of things. This week we came out with a lot of confidence and we know that we have to win now.  It's more relaxing because I don't have to play to get a scholarship. It also makes it a lot easier for our team. I don't know what was going on (with her 3-point shooting) against Syracuse but something was going on. It was just one of those days.”

Coach Van Price on Adams:  “She always had the drive to be a good player and has been a good shooter since she was a freshman. She has great leadership skills. She's a star in and of itself, but she knows how to bring her teammates along. She's bought into helping her teammates come along to make a more well-rounded team. She shows a lot of patience. Everything is team first to her.”

After high school:  “ I’m planning on going to Idaho State to play basketball. I'm going to study education, teaching and coaching.”
