TIMPVIEW GIRLS' BASKETBALL
Kaufusi led the Thunderbirds to a win over Murray on Wednesday in the Class 4A quarterfinals. The senior center had 32 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks to help her team beat the Spartans 42-40. In the semifinals against Springville, she had six points, six rebounds and three blocked shots. Timpview will play in the Class 4A state title game for a chance at back-to-back championships.
