Former Metro player and current Metro coach Dave Hammer has been selected as the new assistant girls basketball coach at Westminster College.  Dave has coached the past three seasons in our Metro organization and will continue with the Metro program. 

Dave will assist head coach J D Gustin at Westminster.  Westminster finished the 2007-2008 season with a 24-9 record and a berth in the NAIA tournament.  They finished the season 18th in the NAIA polls.

Dave will join former Metro players Keisha Catten, Lauren Hally, McKenzie Jessop, Michelle Pace, Lexi Phillips and Candice Smith as Griffins.
