C J Wilcox has verbally comitted to the University of Washington . C J will sign a letter of intent with the Huskies in November.
This spring, C J attended the Houston Kingwood Classic with our team, Salt Lake Metro. After his performance there against many of the top players in the country, C J was ranked as the no. 17 top performer in the tournament. There were 261 17U teams participating in the tournament.
Congratulations to C J on your scholarship. He is the second player in the class of 2009 to commit to a d-1 school. His commitment brings the total number of 2009 Boys Metro players that have received scholarships to 2.
