Two years and still going

Today marks the two year anniversary of Salt Lake Metro Hooptalk. There have been 1239 entries made to Hooptalk during the prior year. Hooptalk is designed to provide a forum to help provide information flow between players, parents and the various coaches. By subscribing to the blog (no cost), an email is generated and sent every time there is a new entry.
People have asked why we do the blog. The answer is that it allows us to continue to inform everyone of the great accomplishments of our players, current and past. Although it is very time consuming (at times) it's important that we continue to promote our players and provide information regarding the program.
I have had numerous college coaches indicate how well publicized our athletes are, it's easy when they are great players and people. The blog has been helpful with the recruitment of our players. It helps to remind everyone of the great success of our players and program.
If you ever have any news items, story links, player information, etc. that need to be shared feel free to forward them.
