We will be providing blog entries from some of our players as they go through their college seasons.

Here is an entry from Mandy Munns as she enters the University of Utah:

Hey everybody!  I have been asked to share how my college experience has been so far, and so far it has been awesome!  My team and I started this summer in June to get a head start on conditioning and school.  I had two classes, consisting of 6 credits. Every morning at 7 we would get up and head down to field house to lift weights and run with our strength and conditioning coach.  In the evening we would scrimmage as a team at SLCC on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Being here in the summer really helped me adapt to the college environment and bond with all of the girls.

It has been one week since I have started my first semester.  I have 5 classes, 13 credits.  The classes are much bigger than high school, but the professors are awesome and really work with you.  We run and lift four times a week, and have individual practices twice a week.  I can't wait for our season to start and put all of our hard work to use.  So far my college experience has been amazing, my coaches and teammates are the best!  Thanks for everything Dave and staff, Good Luck Metro.
