Was named the 2008 Region 5 Defensive Player of the Year at Mountain Crest (Utah) High School where she played for coach Amanie Crosbie...as a senior, averaged 10.3 points, 9.1 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game...was named All-State honorable mention...team won the Region 5 Championship, was named to the Region 5 Second Team...played for the Salt Lake Metro team and coach Dave Hammer from 2007-08...also participated in volleyball and track and field in high school.
