(#24) Salt Lake Community College defeated Arizona Western Community College at the Southern Utah University Tournament

Cedar City (November 7, 2008)— #24 Salt Lake Community College defeated Arizona Western C.C. by a score of 72-66, improving their overall record to 2-1.  Salt Lake had four ladies finish the night in double digit scoring.   Freshman Mina Jovanovic lead all scorers for the Bruins with 15 points. Freshman Amie Jensen had 13 points, followed by Nicole Brady with 11 points and Dayna Burgess lastly with 10 points.

The Bruins got their offense rolling today and they look to continue the shooting success tomorrow as they play Lethbridge at 3:15 p.m.
