Bruins win big in their first game of the season 

Salt Lake City, UT. (November 14, 2008)
– #11 Salt Lake (2-1) won 83-53 against Salt Lake Steam in their first home game of the season.

With the big win, the Bruins got outstanding play from freshmen John Pressley,  Krispin Banks and Sophomores Nate Bendall and Rick Shoff. Pressley, had 11 points from off the bench, 7 rebounds and he was 4 of 4 from the free point line. Banks, had 12 points off the bench too, 3 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal on the night. He was 5 of 9 from the floor.  Bendall keeps his quality offense going with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal. He was 6 of 8 from the floor.  Lastly, Shoff had 11 points and 3 rebounds. He was 4 of 9 from the floor.

As a whole team, they had 60 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 blocks.  The Bruins take the hardwood again on Saturday when they play Salt Lake Pro Look @ 8 p.m.
