Geoff Payne Named Player of the Week

BILLINGS, Mont. - Westminster forward Geoff Payne was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Week for his performance last week at the Las Vegas Shootout.  Payne, a 6’7” senior from Sandy, Utah helped Westminster stay unbeaten with two wins over the weekend. The 13th ranked Griffins beat Vanguard University 74-48 and No. 9 Concordia of California 89-81. Payne averaged 17 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He was 14-of-19 from the field (74 percent).
