At his junior college (Snow College), he received MVP honors in the Delta Center and his school won the Conference Championship in 2006-07… He played at Cal State Stanislaus last year and hit a three-point game-winning shot against Santa Clara.  

Personal: Son of Zach and Liz Cassita, J.R. Cassita plans to major in Communications at the Academy of Art… In the future, he wants to play pro ball and then move on to sports broadcasting afterwards... When Cassita is not playing basketball or studying, he likes to relax and watch comedy movies.
