Lady Bruins make adjustments and claim another victory

Riverton, WY. (December 1, 2008) Salt Lake lady Bruins defeated the Rustlers of Central Wyoming by a score of 70-53, improving their record to 6-3.  The lady Bruins were down 32-29 after the first half and they came back in the second half to capture the win. Leading the comeback was Kelsey Sparkman, and Dayna Burgess. 

Sparkman lead all Bruin scorers with 21 points and 8 rebounds.  Burgess scored 16 points and she was 4 of 5 on the night from the 3-point line. For the game, the team as a whole made adjustments on the defensive side and they continued to push the offense. The lady Bruins head to Twin Falls, Idaho December 5-6 for the Boise Equipment Office Tournament hosted by College of Southern Idaho. 

METRO NOTES: Brooke Tolman had 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for Central Wyoming.
