HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM SALT LAKE METRO
As we enter 2009 it is time to get ready and organized for our upcoming 2009 club basketball season.
All Metro players that participated last year in the program are eligible for return. We will be forwarding 2009 registration material shortly. The material should be completed and returned immediately. Roster positions are not secured until we receive the 2009 requested information.
There are currently limited numbers of openings on the various teams and age groups. We receive a large number of player references from college and high school coaches. We are currently evaluating players from six different states for those roster positions.
If you have any player recommendations please feel free to contact Coach Hammer. Players who played with different organizations will need to contact Coach Hammer and express their desire to transfer to Metro.
We expect to start up in Mid March with practices and skill development sessions.
The following are the NCAA D-1 Evaluation Periods for this club season.
April 17-19 (Girls Only) (Boys currently not open for evaluation in April)
July 6 -15 (Boys/Girls)
July 22-31 (Boys/Girls)
We will also attend some national or regional tournaments that are not held during the NCAA evaluation periods.
Tournament schedules for the various teams will be posted shortly. (Subject to Change).
We look forward to another fun and rewarding year of player development with the outstanding athletes in the area.
