The Salt Lake Women finish the year with a great win

Tucson, AZ. (December 31, 2008)  The Salt Lake Women’s Basketball team ended the Pima Tournament with a win over Eastern Arizona 66-58. Salt Lake women are now 9-6 on the season following the win.

Starter Nicole Brady continued to play well for the Bruins however; it was non-starter Amanda Hansen that really helped seal the win for the Salt Lake women.

Brady has continued her dominating performances this season with another great performance today.  She earned a double-double, where she scored 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

Coming off the bench to play well was freshman Hansen. She had a season-high 14 points for the Bruins today.

For the team, they shot 50%.  They out-rebounded Eastern Arizona 43-33.  Salt Lake women’s basketball team opens up conference play at home against in-state rival Snow College.
