Metro player Addi Moore was selected Standard Examiner All Area First Team. Congratulations to Addi on her selection.

   Position:    Shooting Guard 

   Height:    5-foot-8

   On the court:   

Moore, 
who became a starter in the fifth game against Alta, averaged 10.1 points (season-high 19 versus Syracuse and Viewmont) on 37.2 percent shooting — 53.6 percent on 3-point attempts (22 3s) — and 76.7 percent free-throw shooting. She also averaged 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.5 blocks for the Lancers (14-8 overall, 9-5 Region 1).

 

   Coach Van Price’s comments:

“Addi was our big playmaker, and having decent size she could post people up. Addi did a lot of good things as a sophomore. Defensively, she held her own and is just a good athlete.”
