Fullcourt Press Cream of the Crop Challenge
Not to be outdone, 6-2 junior Corbin Miller (Sandy, Utah/Brighton) was putting on a shooting display. At this stage, he is a scoring point guard who can rise up in a hurry and bury the jump shot. Arizona State, Utah and Gonzaga appear to be right on his heels. Surprise performer
Miller definitely made a splash with scouts and college coaches alike at this event. He doesn't possess ideal speed and quickness for the point guard position at the highest level, but he has a prolific stroke. He is equally effective in a catch and shoot situation or for a pull-up in transition. His ballhandling is tight and clever, but he struggles to beat quicker defenders. On the other hand, he advances the ball well in transition, and he has a high basketball IQ. Miller will probably end up at the high-major level because there doesn't appear to be many guards out there that can light it up from the outside like Miller.
