Girls Basketball: Layton Christian's Jasmine Porter narrows list to three

We wrote yesterday about Jennifer Hamson, the 6-foot-6 Pleasant Grove basketball and volleyball player who is trying to decide between BYU, Utah, Oklahoma and Louisville.
And a few weeks ago, we mentioned that Timpanogos’ girls basketball star Morgan Bailey had committed to BYU.
Another Utah prep girls basketball star, Jasmine Porter of Layton Christian, is also getting close to a decision.
Porter, a 6-foot-2 guard/forward, is ranked at the 92nd best player in the country by hoopgurlz.com.
She recently visited San Diego State and Utah State and is expected to make a trip to Colorado soon. Those three schools are her three finalists, after she eliminated UNLV a few weeks ago.
Villanova, Pitt, South Carolina and Utah also showed a lot of interest in the versatile star.
