JASMINE PORTER, Layton Christian, basketball: The basketball season is only a few days old, but this senior guard is already making her mark.
Just a few weeks ago, her athletic skills and leadership ability led the Eagles to it's first volleyball title in the 2A tournament.
Then, last weekend, she led the Eagles to a win on the hardwood with 31 points against Salt Lake Lutheran. Porter, who signed a basketball scholarship with San Diego State University last month, was also named Utah's top girls basketball player by ESPN's Rise.
