Lady Badgers Increase Record 7-2

The Snow College Lady Badgers evened their SWAC record at 2-2 and 7-2 overall with two dominating victories over the weekend.

 In Friday’s action the Lady Badgers used a mini 12-4 run midway through the second half to pull away from a pesky College of Eastern Utah team 68-57. Former Lone Peak High star Amanda Farish led the Badgers with 19 points and Freshman Sammie Jensen scored 17 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.

Saturday the Lady Badgers controlled the action from the outset to drop CNCC 73-56. Jensen again compiled a double-double scoring 12 points and collecting 13 rebounds. Amy Weitzel, the sophomore from Timpanogos High School also put up a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. In all, four Badgers finished in double figures.

The Lady Badgers head to Powell, Wyoming for a weekend tournament before returning home on December 11-12 against SWAC foes North Idaho and College of Southern Idaho.
