Being one of the state's best outside shooters wasn't good enough for this senior.

"She knows how to shoot well," said Alta head coach Kristi Jensen. "She's also learned how to get her drive down, do a shot fake, pull up for a jumper. She's not just an outside shooter this year."

Beaudoin has seen the Hawks girls basketball program go from middle of the pack to among the state's best in her four years on the team. Because of her experiences, Beaudoin is determined to be a better leader to the Hawks' younger players. Jensen said the honor student (3.76 GPA) leads more by example. "She works really hard," Jensen said. "She doesn't say much until she needs to."
