SLCC Women Remain Undefeated at Home
SALT LAKE CITY (January 29, 2010) The fifth ranked Salt Lake Community College Lady Bruins defeated College of Eastern Utah by a score of 89-81. Salt Lake went 20-26 from the field in the second half to secure the eight point win. The Lady Bruins are now 18-3 overall and 10-2 in the SWAC.
Haley Holmstead led the Bruin scoring attack with 28 points on 10-14 shooting. Sophomore Dayna Burgess scored a season high 24 points on 8-10 shooting to go along with eight assists. Alli Blake and Sheila Adams both finished in double figures with Blake scoring 12 and Adams with 13.
No. 5 SLCC (18-3, 10-2 SWAC) returns to the hardwood to face Colorado Northwestern Saturday January 30th at 3 pm.
