Dixie State forward Tom Whitehead has been selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II All-District Team.
Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, the All-District team consists of 88 student-athletes from eight districts across the country who are now eligible for the State Farm Coaches' Division II All-America teams.
Whitehead earned his all-Pac West First Team selection by leading the conference in three-point shooting (45.2 percent) and ranking second in three-pointers made per game (2.2). He connected on 56 of 124 shots from beyond the arc.
His long-distance shooting elevated him to fourth in the conference in scoring thanks to his 16.6 per-game average, while his 5.1 rebounds per game ranked him 16th.
Whitehead helped the Red Storm to a share of its first Pac West title and a berth in the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament.
