THE PLAYER: Garner was the heart and soul of Bonneville’s championship team last season, and followed it up for this year’s team, which went 25-1 and finished second. Torn ligaments in her ankle robbed Garner of her explosiveness at the state tournament, but her ability to play through pain helped Bonneville reach the title game.
