Ashley Garfield commits to BYU

Ashley Garfield verbally committed to sign a letter of intent with the BYU Cougars.
Among Ashley's basketball honors are the following:
2010 Salt Lake Tribune 4A First Team
2010 Deseret Morning News 4A First Team
2010 Standard Examiner All AreaTeam
2009 Deseret Morning News 4A First Team
Ashley was also the Salt Lake Tribune 3A MVP for volleyball.
Ashley will join current Metro teammate Lexi Eaton at BYU. They will join former Metro players Haley Hall, Alexis Kaufusi and Dani Peterson as Cougars.
Congratulations to Ashley on your scholarship. She is the second player in the class of 2011 to commit to a d-1 school. Her commitment brings the total number of 2011 Girls Metro players that have received scholarships to 2.
