It doesn't get much better than this but we take tremendous pride in our great players that have participated with Salt Lake Metro to announce the following: 

This year we will have a record 111 Metro players currently playing college basketball. 

Player profiles for all 111 will be posted on our Salt Lake Metro Basketball Facebook page as they become available from their schools.

In addition, we have now had more than 100 girls players move on to play Women's college basketball.

* There are currently 18 Mens players serving LDS missions that are not included in the current numbers.

It is estimated that Salt Lake Metro players have received in excess of over $ 6 million in collegiate scholarships.

Basketball players that have trained and competed for Salt Lake Metro have won the following awards:

  • One Parade Girls All American
  • Three Boys Utah Gatorade Player of the Year
  • Two Boys Wyoming Gatorade Player of the Year
  • Three Girls Utah Gatorade Player of the Year
  • Nine Deseret News Utah Mr. Basketball
  • One Deseret News Utah Ms. Basketball

As you can see Salt Lake Metro is a dominant force in having it's players participate collegiately.
