Our great coach, friend and mentor Brad Barton passed away Tuesday October 4 at the age of 31.

Brad was a great ambassador for the Metro program with his genuine compassion, understanding, competitiveness and knowledge of the game.  Everyone considered Brad their friend.

He can never be replaced.  We will all miss him dearly!!

Here is an article regarding Brad entitled
Barton went all out on the court just as he did in life.

What he tought and engrained in his players and all of us was the ability to give 100% whether it be in basketball or in life.  Brad was very inspirational and had the best interests of everyone in his heart.

The world is a better place because of Brad and all our lives have been enriched by our association with him.
