Based on a track record of player development, the ability of players to play collegiate level basketball and the quality of the players playing from the Intermountain region, Salt Lake Metro will partner with adidas and receive sponsorship of their girls’ basketball program for the fifth consecutive year.

Salt Lake Metro is one of only 28 adidas Women’s Grassroots Basketball programs nationally to receive sponsorship from adidas and the only Intermountain West program with sponsorship by major shoe companies. 

Salt Lake Metro will be attending the following Women’s adidas sponsored national tournaments: 

adidas Best of the West Showcase (Las Vegas, NV) April 20-22

adidas National Championships  (Louisville, KY) July 9-11

ABOUT SALT LAKE METRO travel teams: 

Salt Lake Metro sponsors both Men’s and Women’s basketball programs for high school age players.

Salt Lake Metro is the Intermountain West’s most established club basketball program. The Salt Lake Metro men’s program is beginning its eighteenth year the women’s program is beginning its eighth year.

Salt Lake Metro currently has 111 players (men and women) playing collegiate basketball, 35 of which are playing NCAA division I basketball.

306 Salt Lake Metro players have moved on to play college basketball 120 of which played NCAA division I basketball.

Over $8,500,000 of scholarship money has been obtained by Salt Lake Metro players. 

Salt Lake Metro is invited to and has attended many of the top tournaments in the nation. Salt Lake Metro is nationally recognized with a proven track record of success, winning several national 17 & under tournaments..

Salt Lake Metro receives a large number of player referrals from college and high school coaches as well as national and regional scouting services. Salt Lake Metro is a regional program that attracts the best talent from throughout the Intermountain region. Players from the adjoining states of Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming as well as from all areas of the state of Utah participate with Salt Lake Metro.
